A number of years ago, I was sitting in a classroom filled with Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Physical Therapists, Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists when the instructor asked a question:  "How many of you would love a waiting room filled with patients that were easy and simple to care for versus one that was filled with difficult patients that really posed a challenge? "

To my surprise, almost everyone in the classroom raised their hand and wanted patients that were simple and easy. 

I was one of the few who preferred difficult patients. Why?  Because life is supposed to be a challenge.  This is why I am constantly learning new skills. 

Classroom knowledge applied to real-life clinical situations provides the basis for my ability to help a large variety of individuals suffering from their different life challenges.
